SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and refresh brake pad surfaces during use. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, contributing to its impressive performance. The caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features also include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design inherently improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking force. The SuperComp system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to minimize both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor efficiently expels gas and pad debris, reducing braking noise and enhancing performance. Ksport ensures optimal performance by heat-treating and balancing every rotor before shipment. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving due to their superior heat management compared to cross-drilled rotors, which are better suited for daily drivers.
