Supercomp Big Brake Kit

This advanced system utilizes cutting-edge brake technology to drastically reduce brake fade, ensuring consistent performance even under extreme conditions. The design also actively cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. At the heart of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precisely machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. For enhanced durability and performance, it includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design significantly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, while the stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure. This kit incorporates Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which contributes to reduced rotating and unsprung weight. This design also effectively prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat, thereby avoiding disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors efficiently expels gas and pad debris, minimizing braking noise. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for superior performance. Cross-drilled rotors are ideal for daily driven vehicles, offering cooler operation, while slotted rotors are recommended for those who engage in more track use. The kit includes replacement calipers, rotors, pads, and stainless steel brake lines, providing a comprehensive upgrade.
