SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit represents K-Sport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for the 2002-2004 Subaru Impreza STI. This kit features significantly larger diameter disc rotors and calipers compared to OEM specifications. The calipers themselves are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional light weight, robust strength, and resistance to corrosion. Key components include 8-piston calipers with aluminum pistons for improved heat management and smoother operation. The 400mm (15.75-inch) rotors are constructed from cast iron, feature a vented and drilled design, and utilize a 2-piece construction with an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, enhance braking response, and minimize the chance of warping. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow for direct bolt-on installation to existing mounting points without requiring modifications. The kit includes street-performance brake pads and heavy-duty seals suitable for sustained high-temperature use. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 508mm (20 inches) to accommodate the larger rotors and calipers. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, contributing to faster pedal response.
