Overview

The Ksport Supercomp big brake kit provides ultimate stopping power and reduces brake fade. Integrating new brake technology, it continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface. The extreme lightweight one-piece caliper is CNC machined from aircraft quality billet aluminum and features differential bore configuration, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure.

By integrating advanced brake technology, these kits significantly reduce brake fade and actively cool the brake pads during use, ensuring consistent performance even under extreme conditions. Each kit features an extremely lightweight, one-piece caliper, precision CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. These calipers weigh just over 5 lbs and incorporate protective grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to factory components. Additionally, the included stainless-steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure, maintaining consistent hydraulic performance. Many applications offer a floating disc option to mitigate thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing rotor warping and surface cupping. Ksport's unique slot design on the rotor helps to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris, leading to improved performance over conventional designs. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are best suited for track use.
