Overview

This kit integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during use.

Featuring an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, this kit boasts a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than ProComp calipers. It is machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems utilize a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight and prevent warping from extreme heat. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driving.

These brake systems are built for easy installation with minimal tools required for most applications. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7 lbs. each. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses from extreme heat to prevent disc warping and protect the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more quickly than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport recommends slotted rotors for vehicles used more for track driving, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers as they tend to run cooler.
