This sophisticated, bolt-on system enhances the performance of their Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant structure. The aluminum pistons within the calipers offer superior heat resistance, maintaining consistent performance even under demanding conditions. Ksport utilizes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure a direct fitment to your OEM caliper bracket locations, despite the larger size of the Supercomp calipers. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, allowing the outer section to shift as needed. This self-centering capability minimizes brake drag and optimizes performance through more even pad application. The rotors come standard in a slotted design, which is recommended for vehicles that see more track use, offering improved cooling and resistance to heat checking. Ksport also offers custom caliper color options, including standard painted colors and premium high-polish or anodized finishes, with a vast array of custom color choices available. Included with the kit are SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal performance on the street and for occasional track use. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust and noise compared to race pads, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Additionally, the kit comes with D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
