Description

This extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while the stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. Equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, this kit reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) and slotted (recommended for track use) rotor options.
