The calipers themselves are crafted from a one-piece forged billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. Inside, aluminum pistons are employed for superior heat resistance and reliable operation. Included in this kit are Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, utilizing NAOC Ceramic compound. These pads offer optimal braking performance for both street driving and occasional track use, significantly reducing brake dust (by 50% or more compared to race pads), noise, and rotor wear. They operate effectively within a temperature range of 194°F to 1022°F. Complementing the braking components are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customization options are available for both the rotors and calipers. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, and slotted recommended for track use. The calipers come standard in various painted colors, with options to upgrade to premium high-polish finishes like Silver, Gold, and Titanium, or Glassy/Hard Anodized colors.
