Overview

This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and refresh the brake pad surface during use. It features an extremely lightweight SuperComp caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, with a differential bore and larger pistons than ProComp calipers. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight and mitigate thermal stress, preventing warping.

The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors run cooler, slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles with more track use. The SuperComp system comes standard with 4 brake pads per caliper.

The SuperComp Big Brake Kit utilizes advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, machined from aircraft-quality billet. It boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design dramatically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over the stock setup. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also prevents thermal stresses caused by extreme heat from warping the disc or the braking surface. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment to ensure the best possible performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler operation, the slotted rotors included in this kit are recommended for vehicles that will experience more track use.
