Supercomp Big Brake Kit 330mm x 32mm Rear

The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your Mercedes Benz C208 CLK. This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads during aggressive use, ensuring consistent performance. Featuring a substantial 330mm x 32mm rotor, the SuperComp caliper is forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and boasts a lightweight design. It includes larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. This specific rear kit utilizes four brake pads per caliper due to the caliper's size. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight while preventing thermal stresses from warping the disc. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, and slotted rotors, recommended for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, characterized by their ceramic composition, optimal operating temperatures, and reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. An optional upgrade to Ksport RC5 Race Pads, made of carbon metallic for extreme track conditions, is also available. Stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal feel and response.
