Overview

The Ksport SuperComp big brake kit provides the ultimate in stopping power. Integrating new brake technology, this kit reduces brake fade and continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper is machined from aircraft quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons. Aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates are standard.

This advanced system integrates cutting-edge brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad performance during demanding use. The kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, ensuring enhanced braking force and control. Standard features include durable aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates for longevity and reliability. The opposed piston design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping and brake surface cupping. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport heat-treats and balances every rotor for maximum performance. The product description notes that cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use.
