SuperComp Big Brake Kit

By integrating advanced brake technology, this kit significantly reduces brake fade and ensures the continuous cooling and refreshing of brake pad surfaces during braking. At the core of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, constructed from aircraft-quality billet and featuring a differential bore configuration. This caliper boasts pistons significantly larger than those found in Ksport's ProComp calipers, contributing to enhanced braking performance. Each caliper weighs just over 7 lbs and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes, along with aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates as standard. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. Stainless steel brake lines are utilized to prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the larger caliper size, four brake pads are standard per caliper in the SuperComp series. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor helps reduce braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles used more for track driving than daily use.
