The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of brake upgrades, engineered to deliver unmatched stopping power for your Toyota Prius models from 2009 to 2013. Designed as a direct bolt-on system, it integrates seamlessly without necessitating any permanent vehicle modifications. This extreme brake upgrade elevates performance beyond the Procomp kit with its larger calipers, 356mm rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. The inclusion of standard full-floating rotors ensures superior self-centering capabilities within the caliper, reducing drag and optimizing brake application for enhanced performance and responsiveness. Each caliper is precision-machined from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightness, rigidity, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for improved heat management and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift, promoting better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and more even pad application. The included SC5 Street Pads offer a balance of performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating line expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily driving due to better cooling, and slotted for more frequent track use. Ksport offers a wide array of caliper color options, from standard painted finishes to premium high-polish and custom color choices, allowing for extensive personalization. Please note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. This kit is specifically designed for the rear of the 2009-2013 Toyota Prius, including Base, Prius C, Prius Plug-In, and Prius V trims.
