This extreme brake upgrade elevates performance beyond the Procomp kit with its larger calipers, 356mm rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased piston count. The inclusion of standard full-floating rotors ensures superior self-centering capabilities within the caliper, reducing drag and optimizing brake application for enhanced performance and responsiveness. Each caliper is precision-machined from a single billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightness, rigidity, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for improved heat management and reliable operation under demanding conditions. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift, promoting better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and more even pad application. The included SC5 Street Pads offer a balance of performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise compared to race pads, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. Additionally, DOT-compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating line expansion under pressure for a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with cross-drilled recommended for daily driving due to better cooling, and slotted for more frequent track use.
