SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The kit's design actively cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking, ensuring consistent performance. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, offering enhanced braking force. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design dramatically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to factory components, while the included stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This kit includes lightweight, 2-piece floating disc assemblies. This design not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing rotor warping and preserving the braking surface. The rotors are cross-drilled for improved cooling, recommended for daily-driven vehicles, and are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance before shipment. Note: Ksport Big Brake kits generally fit 2WD vehicles only, unless otherwise specified. This kit is designed for the Toyota Prius, model years 2009-2013.
