The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is the brand's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for the Volvo 850 (1992-1997). Designed as a direct, bolt-on system, it requires no vehicle modifications for installation. This kit builds upon the Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for enhanced heat management. The accompanying caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel, allowing the larger calipers to bolt directly to the OEM mounting locations. The two-piece floating rotor design features an outer section that allows for slight movement, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance through more even application. This specific kit includes 380mm slotted, two-piece floating rotors and 8-piston calipers designed for the front of the vehicle. It comes standard with SC5 Street Brake Pads, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also included, providing a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel by eliminating expansion under pressure.
