The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered as an extreme brake upgrade for vehicles like the Volvo 850, delivering superior stopping power without requiring vehicle modifications for installation. This kit represents Ksport's most significant brake enhancement, building upon their Procomp series with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a higher piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for optimal self-centering within the caliper. The calipers are forged from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear. The kit is also compatible with optional RCI Race Pads for extreme track conditions. The lightweight center sections, crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, decrease rotational mass for quicker wheel stopping and improved brake response. Customers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driving due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, ideal for vehicles with more track use. The floating rotor design allows the outer section to shift, improving self-centering, reducing brake drag, and boosting performance. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel braided brake lines, and all necessary mounting hardware and an owner's manual. The kit requires 19.7-inch wheels or larger for proper fitment. Ksport provides a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects.
