This kit surpasses the Procomp series with its substantially larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, enhanced piston count, and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering and reduced drag. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum, ensuring a one-piece construction that provides unparalleled strength, lightweight characteristics, and resistance to corrosion. Within these calipers reside aluminum pistons, chosen for their superior heat resistance and reliable operation under demanding conditions. This kit features a floating two-piece rotor design, where the outer section of the rotor can shift slightly. This design improves self-centering within the caliper, leading to reduced brake drag and more even pad application for maximized performance. Ksport also offers a wide array of custom caliper color options, from standard painted finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow to premium high-polish finishes and custom color matching. Included are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, which provide optimal braking performance for street driving and occasional track use, while reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, offering a firmer pedal feel and quicker response by preventing line expansion under pressure. You can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled rotors: Cross Drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, while Slotted rotors are recommended for track use.
