The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit offers a significant upgrade in stopping power for your BMW E63/E64 6-Series. Designed for the rear axle, this kit features 356mm x 32mm rotors and a massive 4-piston caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, weighing just over 7lbs. This advanced caliper design provides greater rigidity and improved pad wear compared to OEM systems, incorporating features like aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston configuration ensures balanced braking performance. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause warping. Standard cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler, while slotted rotors are better suited for track use. The included Ksport SC5 Street Pads are made from NAOC ceramic and offer optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F, reducing brake dust and noise. For more extreme track conditions, optional Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available, designed for higher operating temperatures (482°F – 1472°F). Stainless steel braided brake lines are standard, improving pedal feel and response. The kit comes with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets for direct bolt-on installation to the OEM caliper location. Ksport Big Brake Kits are made to order and are non-refundable.
