SuperComp Big Brake Kit

At the core of this kit is the SuperComp caliper, featuring a differential bore configuration and substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet, each caliper weighs just over 7lbs and incorporates integrated protection grooves for the bridge tubes. Standard features across all calipers include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper architecture significantly improves pad wear characteristics and enhances caliper rigidity over stock designs. Furthermore, the inclusion of stainless steel brake lines ensures consistent performance by preventing line expansion under pressure. This SuperComp system utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which contributes to reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing the disc from warping or the braking surface from cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris, surpassing conventional slot designs. For optimal performance, every rotor is heat-treated and balanced before shipment. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to cooler running temperatures, slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles that experience more track use than daily driving. The specific rotor size for this kit is 400mm x 36mm.
