Overview

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is a rear brake upgrade designed to provide the highest level of stopping power for your Audi S2. This sophisticated bolt-on kit features larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads compared to the Procomp kit, with increased pistons and standard full-floating rotors for better self-centering. All calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, featuring aluminum pistons for improved heat resistance and uncompromised operation.

Show original supplier description

It features a lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft quality billet, weighing just over five pounds. This caliper includes differential bore configuration, machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design is a key feature, greatly improving pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The kit utilizes a two-piece disc assembly, reducing both rotating and unsprung weight. For enhanced performance and durability under extreme heat, many applications offer a floating disc option to prevent warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor not only reduces braking noise but also expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features slotted rotors, which are recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving, offering superior performance in demanding conditions. The kit includes stainless-steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. However, it is always recommended to consult specific instructions for your vehicle. Ksport big brake kits are renowned for their quality and performance, providing a substantial improvement over stock braking systems for enthusiasts seeking the best.
