The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your Saab 9-3 (2003-2012) without necessitating any vehicle modifications for installation. This sophisticated bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit, incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased number of pistons, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. All calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance, and feature aluminum pistons for superior heat tolerance and performance. The floating two-piece rotor design allows the outer section to shift as needed, reducing brake drag and improving performance through more even application. Included are SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust by over 50% and less noise and rotor wear compared to race pads. The kit also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that prevent expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. You can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for track use. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. Note that these kits fit 2WD vehicles only unless otherwise stated, and the OEM handbrake will not function with this kit.
