Supercomp Big Brake Kit 400mm Front Rotor

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate stopping power for your Volkswagen MK6 Golf GTI. This front big brake system integrates advanced technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent cooling of the brake pads, even under extreme conditions. The kit features a massive 400mm diameter, 36mm thick 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating design prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc, while the unique slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Cross-drilled rotors are standard and recommended for daily driven vehicles as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. At the heart of the system are the extreme lightweight SuperComp calipers, forged from aircraft quality billet aluminum. These calipers feature a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, offering massive stopping power. Each caliper requires four brake pads and includes features like aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while standard stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Customers can choose between Ksport SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track use with ceramic compounds, or RC5 Race Pads, a carbon metallic compound for extreme track conditions. Various caliper color options are available, and upgrades for the center bell and rotor style are also offered. The kit is made to order and comes with a 12-month limited warranty. It fits VW Golf/GTI Mk6 models from 2010-2014 with 2.5L or TDi engines.
