The full-floating rotor design contributes to better self-centering within the caliper, optimizing brake performance. Constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, the one-piece monoblock calipers are exceptionally lightweight, strong, and resistant to corrosion. An opposed-piston configuration ensures even brake pad application and wear. The kit includes two-piece rotors, which are significantly lighter than OEM equivalents, and are available in either cross-drilled (recommended for daily driving) or slotted (recommended for track use) configurations to manage heat and maintain performance. Included in the standard kit are (2) Forged, Monoblock Aluminum Calipers, (2) Lightweight Two-Piece Rotors (Slotted or Drilled), (1) Set of SC5 Street Brake Pads, (2) Stainless Steel Brake Lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The stainless-steel braided brake lines are DOT compliant and help prevent line expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to rubber lines. The SC5 Street Pads are NAOC Ceramic, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. For those seeking maximum performance, an upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available, offering superior stopping power under extreme track conditions. Note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, requiring an estimated 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. This kit is suitable for 19-inch wheels and above.
