Overview

This kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet aluminum, with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than their ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit also includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly with a unique slot design that reduces noise and expels debris, and each rotor is heat-treated and balanced.

This kit is recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving due to its slotted rotor design.

Show original supplier description

This advanced system integrates new brake technology for superior performance. The SuperComp caliper itself is a standout component, machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and weighing just over 7 lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances both pad wear and overall caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups, complemented by stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. The floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or braking surface cupping. For optimal performance, every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing before shipment. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers seeking cooler operation, the slotted rotors included in this kit are ideally suited for vehicles that experience more track time than daily commuting. Please note that a California Proposition 65 warning for cancer and reproductive harm applies to this product.
