SuperComp Big Brake Kit

This advanced braking system integrates new technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cools and refreshes the brake pad surface under heavy braking. At the heart of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7 lbs each. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, enhancing rigidity and pad wear over stock designs. The caliper body is machined from aircraft-quality billet and includes protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design further improves pad wear and caliper rigidity. The kit includes 2-piece floating disc assemblies, which reduce both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotors effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Ksport heat treats and balances every rotor before shipment for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler running temperatures and are recommended for daily drivers, slotted rotors are ideal for vehicles seeing more track use. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent brake pedal feel. Ksport Big Brake kits are designed for 2WD vehicles unless otherwise specified. This specific kit is compatible with the Audi A4 B9 FWD models from 2016-2018.
