SuperComp Big Brake Kit

This advanced system utilizes cutting-edge brake technology to dramatically reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surfaces during aggressive braking. The SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft-quality billet, is exceptionally lightweight at just over 7 lbs and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers for superior performance. Key components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all housed within an opposed piston caliper design that greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems. The kit incorporates stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure. For enhanced performance, the SuperComp systems feature a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport offers two rotor types: cross-drilled, which run cooler and are recommended for daily-driven vehicles, and slotted, recommended for vehicles used more for track applications. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Note that Ksport products are designated for off-road use only and are intended for competition or racing activities sanctioned by a recognized organization.
