The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of braking system upgrades, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your BMW 1 Series E82 (2007-2012 128 and 135). This kit is designed as a sophisticated, direct bolt-on solution, meaning no vehicle modifications are necessary for installation. It builds upon Ksport's Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, along with an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for improved self-centering within the caliper. At the core of this kit are the lightweight forged one-piece calipers, meticulously machined from a solid billet of aerospace-grade aluminum. This construction method ensures uniform thickness and exceptional strength while resisting corrosion. The calipers house aluminum pistons that offer superior heat resistance. The two-piece floating rotor design allows the outer section to move slightly, reducing brake drag and enhancing performance through more even application. This Supercomp kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street and occasional track conditions. These pads significantly reduce brake dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads, operating effectively between 194°F and 1022°F. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, preventing line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The kit features 330mm diameter, 32mm width slotted, two-piece floating rotors. Calipers are available in various standard and premium finishes, with custom color options also available. The standard kit includes two forged monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece slotted rotors, a set of SC5 street brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting hardware and brackets, and an owner's manual.
