Supercomp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents the pinnacle of braking upgrades, engineered to deliver exceptional stopping power for your BMW 6 Series. This sophisticated, bolt-on system integrates seamlessly with your vehicle, requiring no modifications for installation. It elevates performance beyond the Procomp kit with larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, complemented by an increased piston count and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering. The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. Aluminum pistons offer enhanced heat resistance and consistent operation, while the opposed-piston design guarantees even brake pad wear. High-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard, ensuring durability even under demanding conditions. This kit utilizes lightweight two-piece rotors, available in either Cross Drilled or Slotted options. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operating temperatures, while Slotted rotors are better suited for track use, featuring grooves to dissipate heat, dust, and gases. The two-piece design, with center bells crafted from 6061-T6 aluminum, significantly reduces rotational mass and minimizes rotor warping from heat buildup, leading to a longer service life and improved brake response. Included in the standard kit are two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (Slotted or Drilled), a set of SC5 NAOC Ceramic Street Brake Pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The SC5 pads offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Carbon Metallic Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. This system is appropriate for 19-inch wheels and above, and comes with a 12-month limited warranty.
