SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp big brake kit provides the ultimate in stopping power, integrating new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pad surface during braking. The extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, weighing just over 7 lbs., is machined from aircraft-quality billet and features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components on each caliper design are aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper configuration dramatically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor effectively reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Every rotor is meticulously heat-treated and balanced before shipment to ensure optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors run cooler and are recommended for daily drivers, the slotted rotors included in this kit are ideally suited for vehicles that will see more track use than daily driving.
