SuperComp Big Brake Kit

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide the ultimate in stopping power for your 1997-2004 Chevrolet Cavalier. This system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. At the heart of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft quality billet and weighing just over 7 lbs. each. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers, offering improved braking performance. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM setups. Additionally, the included stainless steel brake lines are constructed to prevent expansion under pressure, ensuring consistent braking force. The SuperComp system also incorporates Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping or cupping of the braking surface under extreme heat. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment to guarantee optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operating temperatures, the slotted design of this kit is ideal for vehicles prioritizing track use.
