The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit represents their most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for the Dodge SRT-4 without necessitating any vehicle modifications for installation. This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the benefits of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, an increased piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper for improved performance and reduced drag. Constructed with a focus on strength and durability, the calipers are made from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight performance, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. The calipers also utilize aluminum pistons for superior heat resistance. The kit includes floating two-piece rotors, standard on all Supercomp systems, featuring an outer section that allows for slight shifting, leading to better self-centering, reduced brake drag, and more even pad application. Included in the kit are SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic material for optimal braking under street and occasional track conditions. These pads offer a significant reduction in brake dust (50% or more compared to race pads), minimize noise, and reduce rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Buyers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use.
