The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit offers the pinnacle of stopping power, engineered with advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal performance under demanding conditions. The SuperComp caliper, a standout feature, is exceptionally lightweight, weighing just over 7 lbs. It utilizes a differential bore configuration for superior piston force distribution and houses larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Constructed from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, each caliper includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel wear plates, contributing to enhanced durability and performance. The opposed piston design significantly improves pad longevity and caliper rigidity over stock setups, while stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung mass, crucial for improved vehicle dynamics. The floating design also mitigates thermal stresses that can lead to disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The unique rotor slot design actively reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing for peak performance. Ksport offers both cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to better cooling, and slotted rotors, ideal for track-focused applications.
