Supercomp Big Brake Kit - Front

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit provides a significant upgrade in stopping power for your Mercedes Benz C219 CLS. The kit features an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while the stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to their size, the SuperComp calipers require four brake pads per caliper. Included is a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. Slotted rotors are better suited for track-focused applications. This kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, made from NAOC ceramic material, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use. These pads operate efficiently between 194°F – 1022°F, reduce brake dust by over 50% compared to race pads, and minimize noise and rotor wear. Alternatively, Ksport RC5 Race Pads (carbon metallic) are available for extreme track conditions, with optimal operating temperatures between 482°F – 1472°F and not recommended for street use.
