Supercomp Big Brake Kit - Front

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers enhanced stopping power for your Audi B9 Q5 Quattro. This system is engineered with advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal brake pad temperatures through continuous cooling and refreshing of the pad surface during braking. At the core of the SuperComp kit is an extreme lightweight caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers, contributing to massive stopping power. Its construction features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over the factory setup, while the included stainless-steel brake lines are crucial for preventing expansion under pressure. Each caliper in the SuperComp series requires four brake pads. The kit includes Ksport's 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design to reduce braking noise and efficiently expel gas and pad debris. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler than slotted options. This specific kit comes standard with Street Pads (SC5) designed for optimal street and occasional track use, offering reduced dust, noise, and rotor wear compared to race pads. The caliper can be finished in Ksport Orange, with various other color options available at an additional charge.
