Supercomp Big Brake Kit Front

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is a significant upgrade for the front braking system of select BMW E90, E91, and E92 3-Series models from 2006-2012. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is extremely lightweight and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to a firmer pedal feel and quicker response. Due to their size, the SuperComp calipers utilize four brake pads per caliper. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly designed to reduce both rotating and unsprung weight, while also mitigating thermal stresses that can cause disc warping or cupping. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. Buyers can choose between cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to cooler operation, or slotted rotors, preferred for track use. Standard equipment includes Ksport SC5 Street Pads, which are ceramic and designed for street and occasional track use with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F and 1022°F, offering reduced dust and noise compared to race pads. Optional RC5 Race Pads, made from carbon metallic compounds, are available for extreme track conditions with higher optimal operating temperatures (482°F – 1472°F) and are not recommended for street use.
