Supercomp Big Brake Kit Rear

The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide enhanced stopping power for your Mazda RX-8 (2003-2012). This kit integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during braking. At the core of this kit is an extreme lightweight, one-piece caliper, CNC machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. Weighing just over 5 lbs each, these calipers feature differential bore configurations and built-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed-piston caliper design dramatically improves pad wear characteristics and caliper rigidity compared to factory designs, while the stainless-steel brake lines eliminate the common issue of expansion under pressure. Ksport utilizes a two-piece disc assembly to reduce both rotational and unsprung weight. Many applications offer a floating disc option, which mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping and maintaining the integrity of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation. Slotted rotors are better suited for vehicles that see more track time. This Supercomp Big Brake Kit includes replacement calipers, rotors, pads, brake lines, and all related hardware. The rotors feature a standard full-floating design for improved self-centering within the caliper, reducing brake drag and boosting performance. Calipers are available in four standard colors (Orange, Red, Yellow, Black) with over 20,000 custom color options. This specific kit fits the Mazda RX-8 models from 2003 to 2012 and is designed for 2WD vehicles only. The rear kit features 4-piston calipers and 330mm rotors.
