The Ksport Supercomp Rear Big Brake Kit is engineered to provide superior stopping power for your Audi 4M Q7. This system integrates advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continually cool the brake pads during operation. The SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum, is extremely lightweight and features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers. It includes protection grooves, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless steel wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each caliper in the SuperComp series requires four brake pads. This kit features a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which minimizes rotating and unsprung weight, and prevents thermal stresses from causing disc warping or surface cupping. The rotors come with a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris effectively. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended as they tend to run cooler than slotted rotors. Ksport offers both street and race pads, with the SC5 Street Pads being standard. These ceramic pads offer optimal performance between 194°F – 1022°F and reduce dust by over 50% compared to race pads.
