The KSport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is engineered for the most demanding driving conditions, offering extreme stopping power for the 2005-2007 Subaru Impreza STI. This kit includes 4-piston calipers, known for their ability to improve pad grip and reduce uneven wear. The calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring light weight, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. Aluminum caliper pistons further enhance heat resistance and reduce weight. The kit features large 356mm (14") diameter rotors that are drilled and vented for superior performance. These rotors utilize a 2-piece design with an aluminum center, which reduces rotational mass, speeds up braking response, and shortens stopping distances. This design also minimizes the risk of rotor warpage by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section under high temperatures. The calipers are paired with heavy-duty seals for sustained high-temperature use, and stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure, leading to faster pedal response. This big brake kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of 457mm (18").
