SuperComp Big Brake Kit w/ Cross-Drilled Rotors

The Ksport Supercomp Front Big Brake Kit offers the ultimate in stopping power for your Volkswagen Touareg, integrating advanced brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. The kit features Ksport's extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, forged from aircraft-quality billet aluminum and boasting a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than standard calipers. These calipers have a weight of just over 7 lbs each and include protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless-steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the large size of the SuperComp calipers, each requires four brake pads. Included is a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight and prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. These rotors are heat-treated and balanced prior to shipment. Cross-drilled rotors are standard and recommended for daily driven vehicles, offering cooler operation than slotted alternatives. Optional upgrades include Ksport's RC5 Race Pads, which are carbon-metallic and designed for extreme track conditions; however, they are not recommended for street use due to their high operating temperatures. Ksport SC5 Street Pads are standard, offering optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. This Ksport Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the VW Touareg models from 2004-2010, including V10 and V10 TDi engines.
