Overview

It features a lightweight SuperComp caliper, machined from aircraft quality billet, with a differential bore configuration and larger pistons than ProComp calipers. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight and mitigate thermal stress, along with unique rotor slot designs for reduced noise and faster gas/debris expulsion.

This kit integrates advanced brake technology to continually cool and refresh the brake pad surface during braking. The SuperComp caliper, a key component, is constructed from aircraft quality billet, making it extremely lightweight at just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with larger pistons than the ProComp calipers and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on this caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design offers superior pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, and the stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure. The SuperComp systems are equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also prevents thermal stresses from warping the disc or braking surface. The unique slot design on the rotor minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance; slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers.
