Overview

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit is an extreme brake upgrade designed for the 2013-2018 Scion FR-S. It provides enhanced stopping power with larger diameter disc rotors and 8-piston calipers. The kit features calipers constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for strength and lightness, paired with aluminum pistons for better heat resistance. Rotors are a 2-piece design with an aluminum center, constructed from cast iron with a slotted and vented style. The calipers are finished in orange and require a minimum wheel diameter of 18 inches.

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit represents K-Sport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver superior stopping power for the 2013-2018 Scion FR-S. This kit features a robust 8-piston caliper design, constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum for exceptional strength, light weight, and corrosion resistance. The brake system utilizes 356mm (14-inch) two-piece, vented, and slotted rotors. The two-piece design, incorporating an aluminum center, reduces rotational mass for quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This construction also helps mitigate rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section, which is made from high-carbon iron for reduced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers fit existing mounting points. The kit includes street-performance brake pads and stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, leading to a faster pedal response. A minimum wheel diameter of 18 inches is required to accommodate this Big Brake Kit. KSport offers a standard manufacturer's warranty on this product.
