SuperComp Big Brake Kit w/ Slotted Rotors

These advanced brake systems are intended for straightforward installation, typically requiring minimal tools. The kit features the lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet. This caliper boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers, and weighs just over 7 lbs. each. It includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates as standard. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM setups, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Due to the caliper's size, four brake pads are supplied per caliper. SuperComp systems are equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that substantially reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more effectively than conventional designs. Each rotor undergoes heat treatment and balancing prior to shipment to ensure optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation and are recommended for daily drivers, these slotted rotors are specifically recommended for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
