SuperComp Big Brake Kit w/ Slotted Rotors

This kit is specifically designed for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza STI, offering a direct bolt-on replacement solution without requiring modifications. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which enhance heat resistance and ensure smoother operation. The opposed-piston caliper design significantly improves pad grip, reducing uneven wear. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to bolt directly onto the existing mounting points. The rotors are a 2-piece vented design with a 356mm (14-inch) outside diameter and a cast iron construction. This 2-piece design includes an aluminum center to lower rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. It also minimizes the chance of rotor warpage by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. The kit includes stainless steel brake lines, which prevent expansion under high temperatures and pressures, resulting in a faster pedal response. All caliper seals are heavy-duty, suitable for sustained high-temperature racetrack use. The minimum required wheel diameter for this kit is 457mm (18 inches).
