Overview

It features a SuperComp caliper machined from aircraft-quality billet, with differential bore and larger pistons than ProComp calipers. The kit includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly that reduces rotating and unsprung weight while mitigating thermal stresses.

This system integrates new brake technology to significantly reduce brake fade and continuously cool the brake pads. It utilizes stainless steel brake lines to prevent expansion under pressure and a unique slot design on the rotor to expel gas and pad debris faster, reducing noise. The kit comes with cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles for cooler operation.

The SuperComp caliper is a standout feature, machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7 lbs. It boasts a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM systems, while the stainless steel brake lines resist expansion under pressure. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which not only reduces rotating and unsprung weight but also prevents warping and cupping of the braking surface caused by extreme heat. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. This specific kit includes cross-drilled rotors, which are recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures. Slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles with more track use. The Ksport Supercomp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic front application. The caliper is finished in red, and the kit features 421mm x 36mm floating rotors.
