SuperComp Big Brake Kit with Opposed Piston Caliper

This advanced brake system incorporates cutting-edge technology to significantly reduce brake fade and ensure consistent performance by cooling and refreshing the brake pad surface during braking. At the heart of this kit is the extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet and weighing just over 7 lbs. It features a differential bore configuration with substantially larger pistons than ProComp calipers and includes integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design critically improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, while stainless steel brake lines eliminate expansion under pressure for more consistent pedal feel. The SuperComp systems are equipped with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which notably reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating disc design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that significantly reduces braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Every rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. While cross-drilled rotors offer cooler operation and are recommended for daily drivers, the slotted rotors included are ideal for vehicles that see more track use than daily driving.
