The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit represents K-Sport's most extreme brake upgrade, engineered to deliver unparalleled stopping power for your 2016-2018 Mazda MX-5 Miata. The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring light weight, exceptional strength, and resistance to corrosion. The integrated aluminum pistons offer superior heat resistance and smoother operation. Reinforcing carbon steel caliper brackets allow these larger-than-OEM calipers to be installed directly onto the existing mounting points without modification. The kit includes 2-piece vented rotors with a 400mm outside diameter and an aluminum center, which reduces rotational mass, enhances braking response, and shortens stopping distances. This two-piece design also minimizes the chance of rotor warpage due to less restricted expansion and contraction. Key features include an 8-piston caliper type, slotted cast iron rotors, and street performance pads. The kit requires a minimum wheel diameter of 20 inches (508mm). All caliper seals are heavy-duty for sustained high-temperature use, and the included stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to faster pedal response.
