Supercomp Big Brake System

This kit enhances braking performance by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, featuring an increased number of pistons and standard full-floating rotors for superior self-centering capabilities within the caliper. The calipers are precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight construction, unparalleled strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized for their superior heat resistance, maintaining uncompromised operation even under demanding conditions. The opposed-piston design promotes consistent brake pad grip and even wear across the rotor surface. This kit includes lightweight, forged one-piece calipers constructed from aerospace-quality aluminum. This manufacturing method ensures uniform thickness and strength, eliminating potential weak spots that could lead to fracturing or failure. The calipers are equipped with high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. The center sections are crafted from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reducing rotational mass for improved responsiveness. This two-piece design also allows the outer rotor section to expand and contract independently, minimizing warping due to heat buildup and acting as heat sinks to dissipate heat more effectively, thereby extending service life. The Supercomp system comes with slotted rotors, recommended for vehicles that see more track use, as they help manage heat, dust, and gases. For daily driven vehicles where cooler operation is prioritized, cross-drilled rotors are also an option. The standard included brake pads are SC5 NAOC Ceramic, designed for optimal performance in street and occasional track conditions, offering reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Carbon Metallic race pads is available for extreme track conditions, though these are not recommended for street use. Included in the standard kit are forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), a set of SC5 street brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, all necessary mounting components and hardware, and an owner's manual. Ksport offers a 12-month limited warranty covering manufacturer defects for all Big Brake Kits. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced before shipment for optimal performance. It is important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery times typically ranging from 4-6 weeks. This system is compatible with 18-inch wheels and larger.
