SuperComp Brake Kit

This kit represents Ksport's most extreme brake upgrade, featuring larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads to enhance performance under sustained high-heat conditions and minimize brake fade. The advanced design continually cools and refreshes the brake pad surface during braking. This system utilizes an extreme lightweight SuperComp caliper, precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet, weighing just over 7lbs each. It features a differential bore configuration with much larger pistons than Ksport's ProComp calipers and includes machined-in protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard components include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and superior caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper design further enhances these benefits. Ksport's SuperComp systems come standard with a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which effectively reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also prevents thermal stresses from extreme heat from warping the disc or cupping the braking surface. The rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance, with cross-drilled options recommended for daily drivers due to their tendency to run cooler, and slotted rotors for more track-focused applications. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure.
