SuperComp Caliper

The Ksport SuperComp Big Brake Kit offers an ultimate upgrade in stopping power, engineered with advanced brake technology to combat brake fade and maintain optimal pad performance. The SuperComp caliper itself is a marvel of engineering, machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It boasts a differential bore configuration and significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Weighing just over 7lbs each, these calipers feature integrated protection grooves for bridge tubes, aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over stock components, while stainless steel brake lines prevent expansion under pressure. Each SuperComp system includes a two-piece floating disc assembly that reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport also offers rotors that are cross-drilled for better cooling, recommended for daily drivers, or slotted for enhanced performance on track-focused vehicles. All rotors are heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance.
