SuperComp Caliper

This kit incorporates advanced brake technology aimed at reducing brake fade and ensuring continuous cooling and refreshing of the brake pad surface during intense braking. The SuperComp caliper itself is a highlight, being exceptionally lightweight and precision-machined from aircraft-quality billet aluminum. It features a differential bore configuration with significantly larger pistons compared to Ksport's ProComp calipers. Standard features include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates, all contributing to improved pad wear and superior caliper rigidity over OEM designs. The opposed piston caliper layout enhances both pad wear and structural integrity. Each SuperComp system includes a 2-piece floating disc assembly. This design not only reduces both rotating and unsprung weight but also mitigates thermal stresses caused by extreme heat, preventing rotor warping or cupping. The rotors feature a unique slot design that minimizes braking noise and more efficiently expels gas and pad debris. Ksport heat-treats and balances every rotor to ensure optimal performance right out of the box. For daily driven vehicles, cross-drilled rotors are recommended for cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for those engaging in more track use. Stainless steel brake lines are included to prevent expansion under pressure.
